 BIR 001 33
Syrentum Gold Craft Beer 33 cl

 Birrificio Sorrento

Attractive golden color with a big white creamy foam leaving nice inner laces in the glass. In the nose, a fresh although not invading citrus-fruit aroma coming first thank to renowned Sorrento’s lemons.
Soon after, malty notes not far from acacia honey are coming living together in good harmony with fresh notes of green apple and exotic fruit. In the mouth, it is full bodied, surely more than the nose announced. Fruity notes are well detected on the top and in the middle of the tongue while the citric ones, even never harsh, are detected on center rear sides.
The harmonious aftertaste is well balanced between the citrus fruit notes and herbal bitterness coming from generous and clever use of aromatic hops. Syrentum is not only an easy drinkable, thirst-quenching and refreshing beer but it gets a well-defined character that allows her to make a good impression, also supported by a refined elegant packaging, on the tables of the most prestigious restaurants.
Excellent as an aperitif, with appetizers and delicacies, captivating with raw oysters and shellfish, it can surprise with the most daring combinations such as boiled fish served with mayonnaise (try it with cod), battered vegetables, fried fish and vegetable omelettes and, thanks to it tips of mild acidity, with soft cheese like buffalo mozzarella.

Syrentum’s pronounced fruity notes, not far from a sweet sparkling wine, can finally suggest to try it with Neapolitan cakes, starting with the irresistible "sfogliatelle con la crema" (puffs pastry with cream).

 BIR 002 33
Minerva Amber Craft Beer 33 cl

 Birrificio Sorrento

Nice brown color with hints of pigeon blood color with cappuccino-colored big, persistent foam.
Sense of smell is characterized by caramel and roasting aromas not far from dried fruit with slight smoky notes and hints of cocoa, orange and chestnut honey. It is soft and smooth from the first sip while although caramel and roasted malts are well present giving clear nutty notes gradually leading to a complex aftertaste from the union of smoky malty notes and bitter and aromatic hoppy ones . Like its sister "Syrentum" it has a refined and elegant packaging, appropriate for the tables of the most prestigious restaurants. Minerva is easy drinkable despite its full body but at the same time it could be perfect with different kind of foods, primarily grilled meat, as a gorgeous Florentine Chianina steak or with horse and pork chops. Its versatility is revealed in cooking with sauces of elaborate dishes such as braised pork and beef stews as famous Belgian specialty known as "carbonade flamande. Inspired by the Belgian tradition, Minerva could be perfect with the most classic pairings for amber beer with medium ripe cheeses flavored with celery salt. Roasty notes work very well with chocolate desserts but an original idea would be to use Minerva in the preparation of a "birramisù" quite intriguing.
