Guido Marsella, a man with a unique character, began his wine adventure in 1995 and since then his Fiano, made with the grapes from his ten hectares of vines in Montevergine at an average altitude of 700 metres a.s.l., has also become unique.
This intense, long, persistent wine, which has a great character and viscosity, gives its best after ageing a few years in the bottle. Marsella was a precursor of "modern" Fiano, delaying the sale of the wine by one year to harvest the various expressions of the unique terroir of Summonte.
