Region: Campania
This is a company from north of Caserta which is taking off,and the bottles are considered attractive by some of the most important wine journalists.Diana Iannacone and Mario Basco follow the biodynamic methods on their 9 hectares of vineyard, divided in different parcels in the Cacciagalli and Aorivola area. An authentic expression of typical vineyards through the particularities of the territory, the soil being enriched by the inactive volcano Rocca-monfina: between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, with the vines exposed to the eastern side on volcanic ground, made of sandstone and with a good percentage of organic component. Theirs is a sensible work and to be noticed a further improvement of the young vineyards — 10 years old or less — planted with Aglianico, Piediorosso, Pallagrello Nero, Falanghina and Fiano. Almost all wines are aged in claypots, with more or less long maceration, all through spontaneous fermentation, no additives of any kind or filtration
