Courvoisier VS (Very Special) is a mouth-watering blend of cognacs aged for up to eight years.
Grapes from the Fins Bois and Petite Champagne crus give complex fruity notes, richness and depth unmatched by any other VS on the market. "An elegant and harmonious cognac with strong notes of fresh fruit and a fresh oaky taste." Patrice Pinet, Master Blender Aroma accounts for around 75% of what we taste, so we take great care to nurture complex aromas throughout our process. Our "Le Nez de Courvoisier" programme highlights three signature aromas for each of our cognacs and traces them back to specific moments in the process.
Fresh oakiness Testament to the fine French oak of our casks and our coopersÂÂ skilful artistry, but carefully controlled to make sure it doesn't dominate the fruity and floral aromas. Spring flowers The hallmark of grapes harvested from the Fins Bois cru at their peak by our expert wine growers. These highly aromatic grapes mature quickly and produce a very smooth cognac. Ripe fruits The unique chalky soil of the Fins Bois cru and distillation in our smaller 25 hectolitre Alambic pot stills produces luscious notes of fresh grapes, pear, lemon, orange and other ripe fruits, the signature aromas of Courvoisier VS.
Neat: Serve Courvoisier VS at room temperature and after pouring, leave for a minute to allow it to fully release its bright and youthful aromas. Our Master Blender calls this ÂÂLa Minute MystiqueÂÂ.
