Legend is that the origin of the vines of Vesuvius were created from the tears of Christ. In a surprising scenario, on the foothils of one of the largest volcanoes of Europe, our best indigenous variety of red berries has given life to our Lacryma Christi.

Denomination: Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio DOC

Grapes: Piedirosso and Aglianico

Fermentation: Fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks for about 2-3 weeks.

Maturation: 4 months in stainless steel vats.

Organoleptic examination: Ruby red color. There are evident notes of freshly picked red fruit in the nose. In the mouth, one experiences freshness and softness with the pleasure of fresh fruits of the forest and sweet tannin.

Food pairings: To be enjoyed with simple plates of meat, including grilled.
