Pinot Bianco is, even if not indigenous, one of South Tyrol’s most typical wines. Johann, Duke of Austria, introduced the first vines of this variety to the region during the middle of the 19th century. This elegant wine comes from selected vineyards around Bolzano and convinces with fresh, floral aromas and a nice acidity.
Grape variety: Pinot Bianco/Weissburgunder
Cultivating area: Steep slopes around Bolzano, which are chosen carefully by the head enologist
Harvest date: beginning to mid-September
Vinification: Gentle pressing and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. Matures in stainless steel vats to keep the wine utterly fresh and crisp.
Tasting notes:
Color: Light straw yellow, green hues
Aroma: Fruit with Golden Delicious apples, pear; light scent of peaches and pineapples
Flavor: Fresh wine with a pleasant mouthfeel.

Residual sugar*: 4,5* g/l
Serving temperature: 11-13 °C (52-55 °F)
Food pairing: Perfect as an aperitif, paired with asparagus or mussels, fish or vegetarian dishes.
