CRA NIR
Nireo was the son of Poseidon, god of the sea and Canace, his favorite daughter, who took her own life out of love. In fact, this Pinot Noir is the son of love for the sea, obtained from vines planted on the hills of sand and lapilli that surround the grancia of the Abbey of Crapolla in front of a boundless horizon.
Love of the Sea for a variety of very different latitudes is a perfect inspiring principle of the philosophy that Abbazia di Crapolla has embraced in its eno-adventure. A typical pale ruby precedes an inflation where it is evident how much the clay (traditional for this vine) has given way to lapilli: the spicy game phenotype of Pinot Noir is enriched here with further freshness and balsamic: the glass also draws inspiration from it to the completely new taste, which every year surprise for the qualitative evolution.
In addition to meat, as long as it is not overcooked, it also accompanies fish, thanks to its elegant flavor, and mountain cheeses.
