Alce Nero honey is contributed by our partner beekeepers and collected in the best honey producing regions of Italy: orange blossom honey from Sicily, acacia honey from Piedmont and Lombardy and chestnut honey from Tuscany. It is then gently processed so as to fully preserve its natural characteristics. First the honey is filtered, then homogenised and filled into jars without ever being heated to a temperature above 40°C, unlike industrially produced honey, which is pasteurised at 80-90°C. The Alce Nero range includes acacia, wildflower, chestnut, orange, eucalyptus and forest honey. Honey is harvested from May to October, according to flowering season and region.Category | Italian Organic Farming Alce Nero |
