Merlot, one of the noble grape varieties, has been cultivated in Alto Adige for more than a hundred years. The grapes for this fruity and zesty wine, with its typical light vegetal notes, are harvested from selected vineyards.

Grape variety: Merlot Warm slopes in the Adige Valley and around Bolzano at 300 meters a.s.l.

Grape harvest: Beginning to middle of October

Vinification: Traditional fermentation of the must, malolactic fermentation in stainless steel, short period of maturation in the bottle

Tasting notes:

Color: deep ruby

Aroma: fruity aromas of dark berries, light spicy notes, dark chocolate and a hint of hay

Taste: expressive, full-flavored, with a soft well-balanced structure

Food pairings: Grilled or roasted red meats, game and medium-aged cheeses

Serving temperature: 16 - 18 °C
