The 2 Star Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI is a condiment made from selected grape must and wine vinegar , aged in 8 225-litre oak barrels .

The 2 Star Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI is characterized by a balanced, soft, enveloping and pleasantly acidic flavour. It has a clear and brilliant black colour, and boasts a fragrant scent, enhanced by accentuated Balsamic notes.

Ingredients :
Cooked Lambrusco grape must (30%)
Trebbiano Montanaro (15%)
Trebbiano di Spagna (15%)
Aged Wine Vinegar (40%)

It is a 100% artisanal product obtained without caramel . Maximum acidity of 6% . Contains Natural Sulphites which are formed during the normal fermentation of the cooked must. By aging in small wooden barrels the product may present a sediment.

In the kitchen :
Our 2 Star PGI Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is suitable for all fish dishes, especially white fish and blue fish. Can also be used in cooking at low temperatures.
