Symbolic of the Massenez brand, the Prisoner Pear is fascinating due to both its quality of taste and scent, and its pear-shaped bottle, encasing the pear inside.
The bottle is simply placed onto the pear tree when it is flowering... Then the fruit grows inside the bottle until it is ripe, when the fruit and the bottle are delicately picked from the tree.
The Massenez Williams Pear Eau-de-Vie won the only gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in Canada, in 2011 & 2012!
Additional Information
Bottling these pears requires a unique level of expertise...
This rigorous process requires all of the joint expertise of the fruit farmers and the Master Distiller.
Every year, climatic variations and quirks of nature give each bottle its unique character.
Savor this iconic Eau-de-Vie from the Massenez distillery: finesse and elegance on the palate, the pear flavor is intense and brings with it a great deal of freshness...
To be consumed chilled, or at room temperature.
Tip: In order to preserve the organoleptic properties of this exceptional product, once the fruit is open to the air, we advise you to fill your decanter with the VRP Pear Eau-de-Vie or Prestige Massenez.
