TDG KAU
Kaulós is a grape blends of Calabrese,Magliocco, Greco Nero and just a little Cabernet Sauvignon which are cultivated on chalky soils near the sea.
Grapes are exposed to extreme climate conditions and the consequence is an early dehydration. They are harvested in August with very high concentration of dry extracts and of reducing sugars. Water stress and dehydration lead to tartaric acid concentration giving a liveliness and a freshness that one doesn’t expect in a wine of extreme southern latitude.
The Kaulós has got a rich southern character and it is suited to rich traditional cuisine and to meditation.
