Cream ale with Sorrento's oranges peels
Featured by a golden colour, a good carbonation and a white foam. The scent recalls slightly citrus fruit. The Armida is light, refreshing and still pretty soft to the mouth thanks to it's medium bitterness and it's slim body. It is produced using Ale yeasts but held to Lager yeasts temperature just like Usa and Canada used to in the middle of the 1800.
This style survived anti prohibition and became very popular in Amarica. Well attenuated and similar to low fermentation beer but still featuring more personality, very easy to drink and refreshing, perfect against the summer's heat.
Pairing: appetizers, fish dishes
