The origins of this product are lost in the contradictory stories of the old people, but maybe the Spanish introduced it in Calabria; what is sure is that Nduja has gradually asserted itself and now it characterizes a precise Calabrian zone full of sky, sun, sea and chili pepper with an intense fragrance that makes it inimitable elsewhere. It's a compound of the finest minced swine meat, wisely aromatized with Calabrian first quality hot pepper.
It has an emphasized spicy taste, very characteristic and natural. It exalts its particular taste when spread on toasted bread or on the pizza, when used as a seasoning for spaghetti and all kinds of pasta.
